When this tool is useful
Combine a series of screenshots into one step-by-step image, or arrange photos side by side or in a grid for comparison. Set the order, spacing, and background before saving.
How to use
- First add two or more JPG, PNG, or WebP images. In supported browsers, you can also paste copied screenshots with Ctrl / ⌘ + V.
- Reorder the thumbnails by dragging or by using Move Earlier and Move Later.
- Open Merge Settings and choose vertical, horizontal, or grid layout. On small screens, these settings are collapsed initially. For a grid, select 2, 3, or 4 columns.
- Set sizing, gap, background, and output format. JPG and WebP also offer quality settings.
- Check the estimated output dimensions. If too large, choose Fit within output limits (automatic), 75%, or 50% under Output Size.
- Inspect the generated preview using Fit image, 100%, +, and −. Scroll inside the enlarged preview to inspect long images, then download the result.
Sizing and backgrounds
Match Sizes preserves aspect ratios and fits images into uniform grid cells. Keep Original Sizes uses the widest image in each column and the tallest image in each row, then centers every image without resizing. Gaps and unused cell space use the selected background. Transparent output is available in PNG and WebP; JPG uses white. Output size defaults to 100%. Automatic fit scales down to stay within 16,384 pixels per side and 80 million pixels in total.
FAQ
Are images uploaded to a server?
No. Images are loaded, merged, and exported entirely in your browser.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP are supported as input. Results can be saved as JPG, PNG, or WebP.
Can I change the image order?
Yes. Drag thumbnails on a computer, or use the Move Earlier and Move Later buttons on any device. The order is reflected in the preview and output.
Can I make a 2 × 2 or other grid?
Yes. Select Grid and choose 2, 3, or 4 columns. Images fill from left to right, then continue on the next row.
Can I combine images with different sizes?
Yes. Match Sizes fits them proportionally into equal cells, while Keep Original Sizes centers each unscaled image in a row-and-column-sized cell.
Can I save a transparent background?
Yes, with PNG or WebP output. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent backgrounds are exported as white.
How many images can I add and how large can they be?
You can add up to 20 images, each no larger than 25 MB. Each image must be at most 8,192 pixels per side and 40 million pixels overall.
Can I paste a screenshot from the clipboard?
Yes. In supported browsers, copy a JPG, PNG, or WebP image and press Ctrl / ⌘ + V on the page. Pasting text alone has no effect.
Can I zoom into a long merged image?
Yes. Use 100% for actual-size inspection or + and − to zoom. Scroll inside the preview to inspect details. Preview zoom does not change the saved image resolution.
What if the merged output is too large?
Check the estimated dimensions and select Fit within output limits (automatic), 75%, or 50%. If automatic fit still fails due to device memory limits, try fewer images or resize the originals before merging.
